Account book of Capt. James Tisdale, 1781-1783.

Account book concerning Captain Tisdale's company in the 3rd Massachusetts Regiment. Entries include lists for the clothing issued to each soldier with columns for when delivered, coats, vests, briches, W overalls, shirts, L Overalls, hats, blankets, shoe buckles, knapsacks, canteen, socks, etc. There are also lists for the arms and accountiments issued to each soldier with columns for when delivered, firelocks, baynets, c. boxes, g. sling, swords, flints, cartridges, etc. In the reverse direction is "A size roll of Capt James Tisdales Company in the 3d Mass Regiment in the United States Novr 9th 1781". Only the men's names were filled in, the rest of the columns were left blank.
